The traditional Taferner winery is located in the heart of Carnuntum, where wines with an unmistakable signature are produced. Franz and his daughter Karoline Taferner produce first-class wines that impress with their unique character. Together they cultivate 25 hectares of vineyards on the sunny southern slopes of the Arbesthaler Hügelland. Heavy soils with loam and loess, sand and gravel provide the best conditions for the powerful, expressive red wines and the elegant, full-bodied white wines.
