The five tasting bottles that we had on the table showed a clear company identity: five half-litre bottles made of white glass, with straw-yellow contents and a straw-yellow capsule, all harvested as Kabinett and vinified in a delicately tart style. These wines have a nice balance across the board - a little more on the side of juiciness and acidity, as with the fungus-resistant Souvignier Gris variety, or tending more towards sweetness, as with the white Riesling. An original and tasty facet of viticulture on the Middle Rhine.
