When a winery from the Middle Rhine presents three reds out of six wines for tasting, this can be seen as an expression of climate change or as the result of a social upheaval that brings new players and new ideas to the region. Presumably one thing leads to another. Bernd Siebdrat, the mastermind behind the Haus im Turm winery, can look back on decades of experience in the wine trade. He is certainly not suspected of setting up a sentimental hobby project: his Pinot Noir from Unkel was awarded 93 points. Any questions?.
