Falstaff Wine Guide Italy 2024

Founded in 1880 by Leonildo Pieropan, the Pieropan agricultural company enjoyed national and international success in the 1970s and 1980s thanks to his grandson of the same name, Leonildo. Today, the business is run by the fourth generation, Andrea and Dario, the children of Leonildo and Teresita. With an area of 80 hectares, 60 of which are in the Soave area and 20 in the Valpolicella area, the company produces around 700,000 bottles a year, of which around 70 percent are exported to 55 countries worldwide.
